These lyrics are dedicated to younger brother Michael It used to seem to me that my life ran on to fast And I had to take it slowly just to make the good parts last. But when you’re born to run It’s so hard just to slow down so don’t be surprised to see me back in that bright part of town. I’ll be back in the high life again all the doors I closed one time will open up again. I’ll be back in the high life again all the eyes that watched me once will smile and take me in.

I am.very sad to learn of my cousin Michael's passing. My condolences to his remaining siblings and to his children. I know the pain of losing those we love in death. The pain is unbelievable. I hope you will all continue to talk about Michael, sharing many memories with each other. He will always live in your hearts and in your memories. May you be comforted by the scripture at Revelation 21:4. I'm am very sorry for your loss.

Growing up, my dad would take me to JFK, and we would watch the planes take off and come in. I always treasured those moments. If there was one thing my dad loved (besides the Cowboys), he loved anything to do with planes. In recent years when I talked with him, you could feel his voice light up when he talked about planes. After mom passed he would always tell me to "take whatever time you need, but remember to always move forward". He always made sure his ear was open for me, and I can't say enough how much I appreciated that. Just as he did for me, I'll do my best to honor his memory by paying that forward. Love you dad. Next time we see one another, coffee's on me.
