Obituary of Ruth Marjorie Jeschke

Ruth Marjorie (Beacham) Jeschke, 97, of Johnston for 74 years, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born in Pawtucket and is the daughter of the late Harold and Freda (Donath) Beacham and the beloved wife of the late Walter S. Jeschke for 66 years. Ruth worked at the Mohr Library in Johnston for 26 years before her retirement. She leaves her loving children, Walter R. Jeschke and his wife, Gail, Karl M. Jeschke and his wife, Susan, and Paula J. Munko and her husband, John, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Ruth was the sister of the late Edgar Beacham. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Halcyon West Bay in Warwick and Briarcliffe Assisted Living in Johnston for the sincere and loving care of their mother.
Ruth's visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave, Providence, followed by her Requiem Eucharist at 11 a.m. in St Peter & St Andrew's Episcopal Church, 70 Pemberton Street, Providence. Burial will take place at Poccasset Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Peter & St Andrew's Church, 70 Pemberton Street, Providence, RI 02908, or specialolympics.org will be appreciated.
