My eyes cry every time I'm reminded that I won't ever hear "IM GOIN' UP TO THE BOOM-BOOM ROOM" or HEY MUTHA F@@@@ again.
My first memory of you started with protection.
I was new to the job, and you had just met me. That day I was having a hard time with a guest.
When I told the guest something that they didn't want to hear she picked up the brochure display and chucked it at my head.
You happened to be in the lobby at the time with our other buddy Tito.
Tell me why you and Tito chased the guest, brought them back to the lobby and made her apologize for trying to hurt me.
You stated this young lady is a nice girl and you won't be doing this Sh@@ again! No sir! Not on my watch!
I soon found out that Terry didn't play about us !!!!
Terry always had the best music. While working I could always hear his music. It always reminded me of being at the family cookout. Truth be told I never asked him to turn it down because I was Jammin!!!! It made my shift go by faster. So, I have some of the songs that you would play on my playlist.
So, in order not to feel sad I play them in my ears while working. It just makes it a bit easier to come back to work.
Just know that we know that God was waiting on you to entertain him in the Boom-Boom room in the sky.
