Titi Chira was an incredible mother. She loved her kids dearly and did everything she could to support them. She was a loving aunt, too. She was always there to greet you with a smile, music, and a hot plate of food. I’ll miss her wild laughs and the sound of her chanclas slapping through the house.

Titi Chira was my favorite aunt. She will always be remembered as the fun-loving, friendly and caring person she was. I will miss the crazy mornings with loud music blasting, the dancing and her cooking. When I visited, I always made sure to say goodbye. I never thought I’d be saying goodbye forever so soon. She will be dearly missed.

Gloria was our loving mother, even before our father passed away she was always our rock and always made sure we were well taken care of. After our father passed she did everything she could to keep us safe, clothed and sheltered, she always protected her children and dedicated her life to raising us right and making us feel loved and supported. She made sure we all knew how proud of us she was and how much she loved us. Even as adults our mother always did everything she could for us, she was always there to listen and guide. She would always make us soup when we got sick, her cooking was the best and it was one of the many ways she shared her love for us. She will be forever missed but always in our hearts.
