Obituary of Rocco Rosati

Rocco Rosati, 87, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. He was the husband of the late Donna B. Rosati. Born in Providence and a longtime resident of both Providence and North Providence, he was the son of the late Arcangelo and Rosaria (Fuela) Rosati. Mr. Rosati served in the US Army infantry during the Korean Conflict and was an Army Reservist for almost 30 years, retiring as a First Sergeant. He was an anatomical technician in the Pathology Department at Roger Williams Medical Center for almost four decades before retiring. He is survived by his three sons and their wives; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He also was predeceased by six siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6-8 PM in the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence. Funeral and burial with Military Honors will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association are appreciated.
