Obituary of Joyce Sutherland

Joyce Sutherland, 75, of Providence, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Kent County Hospital. Born in Point Hill, St. Catherine Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late Eunice Valentine and Hezekiah Sutherland.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly and Yvonne Sutherland, sister Doris Clarke-McDonald, first cousin Ivy Daley and her husband Johnathan and second Cousin Sharon Daley-Graham and her husband Prince Graham, and a host of other relatives, church sisters and brothers, and friends to celebrate her life.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Greater Providence Church of God of Prophecy, 73 Union Ave. Providence, RI from 10:00am - 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00am -12:30pm. Burial will follow at East Greenwich Cemetery, 100 1st Avenue, East Greenwich, RI.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the Women’s Ministries Department of the Greater Providence Church of God of Prophecy located at 73 Union Ave, Providence RI 02909 or popmoney.com (Citizens Bank).
