Anna "Anne" M. (Carraher) Heeder, 90, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 4, 2021. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late William J. and Anna E. (Lane) Carraher. She worked for the State Of RI office of Insurance Commissioner for 19 years. Anne was a member of Council 94. She is survived by her son Craig J. Heeder, and her daughter Annemarie Vasconcellos, and her husband, Edward. She leaves her brother William J. Carraher, Jr., and his wife, Claire. Anne leaves 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 4 nephews, 7 grandnephews, and 3 grandnieces. Her Funeral will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 9am from the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence. Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church 239 Regent Ave., Providence.
