Obituary of Gail J. Wright

Gail J. Wright, 80, a lifelong resident of Providence, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 19, 2021. She was the wife of the late Clifton A. Wright and daughter of the late Curtis and Evelyn (Mallinson) Crosby. Gail was self-employed as a florist at the former Miss Irma's Flower Shop, Academy Avenue, Providence. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Providence. Gail was the sister of Patricia McGinn. She leaves her beloved daughters' Dawn Anne Wright, Susan Lecht, and her husband Michael, and Tracey Lawrence. Grandmother to Benjamin Lawrence and his fiance Brandi Leigh McCray, and Matthew Lawrence. She was the aunt to Timothy McGinn and his wife, Diane and the late Steven McGinn, and Laurie Cooke. Her Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 10am to 11am, followed by a funeral home service at 11am in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
