Obituary of Rolande Duhaime

Rolande Duhaime, 99, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015. She was the wife of the late J. Ernest Duhaime. They were happily married for 75 years. Born in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Albert) Dube. Rolande was a hairdresser, graduating from the School of Hairdressing. She was a foreman at Everett Products for 36 years, retiring in 1979.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest J. Duhaime and his wife Kitty and Normand Duhaime and his wife Eileen; a brother, Thomas Dube; a sister, Margaret Hallene; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Peter Duhaime. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Gerard, Ferdinand, and Paul Dube, Gilberte Ward, Adeodea Simmons, Antonette Fisher, and MaryJane White.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
