Hi Mom, Today's the anniversary of the day I lost you, can’t believe it’s been one year. I expect you to be there like you were before. Once before you left and came back. It was after The Blizzard of '78 and you went out to walk to the store. I sat in the window watching you; then you disappeared into a snowdrift. In spite of that, you reemerged from the snow and came back to me. Oh how I long to see you come out of that drift now but instead; I’ll see you in my dreams. I’ll look for you at Christmastime.
