Obituary of Alfreda Gertrude Przybylowicz

Alfreda G. Przybylowicz (Labonte), 96, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Hebert Nursing Center in Smithfield. She was the widow of John P. Przybylowicz. Born in Canada, a daughter of the late Alfred and Alice (Lapointe) Labonte, she had lived in Providence most of her life. She worked as a press operator for over 25 years at Bulova Watch. Alfreda was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but cherished memories. She enjoyed playing cards, making puzzles, and playing bingo. She was a very active member in St. Adalbert’s Church. Alfreda will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Her family would like to express their deep appreciation to the wonderful staff at Hebert Health Center for their care, kindness, and love for Freda over the last two years, especially during the last eleven months of the pandemic. We can never thank them enough. Alfreda is survived by her daughter, Alice Ortiz, and her daughter-in-law Pamela Przybylowicz, her brothers Paul and William Labonte, her sister Theresa Brennan, her grandchildren Kerry Doucette and her husband Jason and Deana Maloney and her husband Sean, her great-grandchildren Jason Doucette Jr. and Alexandra Maloney, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late John O. Przybylowicz and sister of the late Leo and Roland Labonte, Jeanette Paille, Doris Lamirande, and Yvonne Brien. The family invites relatives and friends to a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at St. Adalbert’s Church, 866 Atwells Ave., Providence, at 10 am.
