Obituary of Vincenzo Vescera

Vincenzo Vescera, 85, of Providence, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Pasqualina Vescera. Born in Vieste, Italy, he was the son of the late Carmine and Angela Vescera. Mr. Vescera was a gardener for the State of RI for many years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Angela Kane and her husband, Chris, Lucia Vescera and her husband, Andrew Glucksman, Enza and Mina Vescera, a brother, Renzo Vescera, two sisters, Natalizia Romano and Grazia Rubiano, and three grandchildren, Giovanni, Ethan and Thayer. He was the brother of the late Vittoria and Anna Vescera. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church, 547 Plainfield Street, Providence. Burial will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm in the funeral home.
