Joseph Thomas Fowlkes, Jr., 82, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020. Joseph was the ex-president of the NAACP from 1984 to 2000 and a former Marine.
His service will be held Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. Face masks required and social distancing will be observed.
