Louis "Pepe" Picard
Beloved Father & Grandad,
Born August 25, 1951, in Providence, RI to Gerard L Picard & Agnes (Mello), Picard went home to be with his savior, Jesus, on October 17, 2020, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Robert A Picard, Jerry Picard, and Louis' eldest son, Jason Picard. Louis is survived by his high school sweetheart and best friend, Bev (Bobie Drew) Picard of Orange TX, brother Mark Picard of Johnston, sons Brandon (wife Amy) Picard of Orange, TX and Shawn Picard of N Providence, grandsons Jason (wife Maecala) Picard, Isaiah Picard, Samuel Picard, and great-granddaughter Melah Mae Picard.
Louis was a retired Sergeant of the Airforce, serving in Vietnam, also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and retired Providence Mailhandler, where he worked for over 40 years. Louis received a BA in Accounting from Johnston & Wales University. Louis was a devoted Christian of Catholic faith that lived for all of his family and friends. As anyone can attest, his generosity and love knew no bounds. A committal service with military honors will take place at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery. Burial is private.
