Obituary of Robert Bourgeois

Robert ("Bob") Bourgeois, 65, of Providence RI, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020. Robert was the son of the late Arthur and Thelma Bourgeois. Robert served proudly in the US Navy during the Vietnam War in the Seabees division. Bob was also an avid pool player, even playing in tournaments. Bob was famous for his pig roasts for many summers. Robert is survived by his daughters Candace Bourgeois and her significant other Marcus Thomas and Michele Bourgeois, his sister Janice Stroessner and her husband Paul, nephews Paul Jr. and Eric, his niece Tracy, and grandchildren Tay, Jaden, and Paige. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence RI, 02908. Burial is private at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.
