Father Rainone was very supportive and inspiring during my father’s final days at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in 2008; I’ll never forget his kindness and love. Thank you, Father. Petrina Lauro

To the Family of Father John:
We will truly miss your brother, he was not only our priest, but our friend. We visited with him a couple of weeks ago, a visit we will treasure for many years to come. He was such a gentle man with a kind, loving soul. He had no idea how many lives he touched and just how loved he was, just proves he was a very humble man, with a very big heart. May he rest in peace with our dear Lord.
Sincere Sympathy
Maryann and John Amato

If Fr. John had anything to do with it, he would have picked April 1 to die! Just so he could say: "April fools, I'm not dead, I am alive!"
He has a sense of humor, quick and smart. John touched thousands of lives in the numerous ministries he headed up. I remember one family I am friendly with telling me how Fr. John was so. so kind and loving to their young wife and daughter who was consumed with cancer. She and they could not be more consoled and prepared than what John ministered to each. God gave the Church a good and talented priest at a time it needed his kind of vocation the most. God, take your priest to yourself in your eternal embrace and thank you for your kindness and many blessings.
Holy Mass will be celebrated in John's memory and for each of you who mourn his passing.
Fr. Joe Protano
