I shared office space with David on Smith Street. Though we practiced in different areas of the law, he would refer injury cases to my practice. He had a great sense of humor even as he fought through his personal demons and struggles. I regret that I am unable to attend his service due to holiday plans but I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to his family and friends at this time.

To the McKenna family, I need to thank David for my family, he handled the adoption of our two boys back in 1998. He was upfront and honest, without taking away hope. Although one of the boys is now deceased along with my husband, Dave made our hope real, he made us a family. There are no words to ease your pain now maybe not later, no words to make sense of it all. However my life a better one and he will be missed
