Obituary of Frances McGowan

McGowan, Frances, 79, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Stella (Wasilewski) McGowan.
Miss McGowan was a legal secretary and bookkeeper in New York City and several RI companies before retiring from Chamberlin of RI.
She was a volunteer at the Trudeau Center in Warwick and Charlesgate Nursing Home in Providence.
She is survived by her nieces Joanne (Tom) Gudavich, Mary Gadwah, Carol (Rick) McCaskill, Barbara Pardoe and Amy (Bob) Krueger. Auntie Franny to seven great nieces and nephews and four great great nieces. She was also the sister of the late Mary Jane Gadwah .
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert’s Church, Atwells Ave. at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-7PM. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. ARRANGEMENTS BY SUPINSKI & BORRELLI
